You can export your data — including your templates and shifts — as JSON, and import it back later. This is handy for backing up your setup or moving it between devices.

Open Import/Export

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Support tab.
  3. Find the Import/Export section.

Export your data

Click Export local data to clipboard. Your templates and shifts are copied to the clipboard as JSON (you’ll see a Data copied to clipboard confirmation). Paste it somewhere safe to keep a backup.

Import your data

Importing overwrites your local data, so only import data you trust.

  • If your browser allows clipboard access, copy your JSON, then click Import from clipboard.
  • Otherwise, paste the JSON into the text box and click Import.

You’ll see an Import complete confirmation and a note of how much was imported. Templates that are new are added; templates already on your device are updated to match.
