Every template has a Visibility setting that controls what your friends can see for shifts made from it. You choose it when you create or edit a template, under Visibility.
The three options
- Public — Visible to everyone. Your friends can see the shift and its notes.
- Private — Notes are hidden to your friends. Friends can see that you’re working the shift, but not the notes attached to it.
- Hidden — Visible only to you. The shift doesn’t show to your friends at all.
New templates are Public by default.
How it’s applied
Shifts you add take the visibility of their template, so setting it once on the template covers every shift you create from it.
When friends look at shared views like When are we free?, your Hidden shifts are left out unless you choose to include your own hidden shifts in the filter.
