Some shifts run across several days — a block of annual leave, a run of nights, or a weekend away. Instead of adding a separate shift to each day, you can book it as one continuous shift with a start and an end date.

A multi-day shift starts from a normal shift: add one to the first day, then give it an end date.

Give a shift an end date

First add a shift to the first day. Then open it for editing:

  1. Click Your shifts in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the shift in the day’s list and click its (more) menu, then Edit.

In the Edit shift editor:

  1. Tap Add end date.
  2. In the End date field, pick the last day of the shift.
  3. Tap Save.

The shift now runs from its start date to the End date as one continuous event.

How multi-day shifts behave

  • An all-day template — like Annual leave — covers every day in the range.
  • A timed template runs from its start time on the first day to its end time on the last day, as one continuous block rather than a fresh shift each day.
  • The shift shows across the range on the calendar and on each day in your agenda.
  • It stays a single shift: editing or deleting it changes the whole range at once.

Back to a single day

Open the shift again, tap Use single day, then Save. The end date is removed and the shift covers just its start day.
