ShiftSync shows your shifts in a few ways so you can see your calendar at a glance or in detail.

On the calendar

The calendar shows a month grid with your shifts as coloured blocks, using each template’s colour. On a small screen each shift shows just its template icon (or short title) to save space, so the day stays readable.

Tap any day to see that day’s shifts listed underneath the calendar, with their times and notes.

Move between months

The arrows above the calendar step back and forward a month, and the Today button jumps straight back to the current month. You can also swipe or scroll the calendar to move between months, matching how your device’s own calendar works:

  • Scroll over the calendar with your mouse wheel or trackpad — scroll down (or right) for the next month, up (or left) for the previous one.
  • On a touchscreen laptop, swipe left or right to change month.

In the agenda

The Agenda view, headed Your upcoming shifts, lists this month’s shifts grouped by day in date order. Use it when you want a straight read of the month rather than a calendar grid. A shift that runs across several days appears under each day it covers, so you won’t miss it on a day it’s still in progress.

Your friends’ calendars

When you open a friend’s calendar you see their shifts on the calendar and in the day’s list, but read-only — you can’t add, edit or delete another person’s shifts. What you can see depends on each shift’s visibility.
